Jacuitiba - FSCMZ were furious when Chico Rossi was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Jacuitiba - FSCMZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mexilhão F. C.:s goal. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Mexilhão F. C.. Anaia Barba stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mastur Bandov. 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Anaia Barba came free, but Mastur Bandov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel de Lara scored 2-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mastur Bandov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Basílio Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Jacuitiba - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basílio Silveira couldn't finish the play. After 20 played minutes Mexilhão F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Arthur dos Santos. Basílio Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldinho Romero got free with Mastur Bandov in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24 played minutes Mexilhão F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Kacper Jaworski. Cacá Barreto hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Mastur Bandov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Germano Pernambucano. Mastur Bandov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel de Lara in the 33rd minute of play. After 39 minutes of play, Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Basílio Silveira made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Intxixu Porregimon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mastur Bandov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Germano Pernambucano in the 44th minute. A collision led to Jacuitiba - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Gláuber Cerezo hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basílio Silveira was the one to do the kick off. Intxixu Porregimon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Silveira in the 51st minute of play. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Mastur Bandov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anaia Barba in the 57th minute of play. Mastur Bandov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Romero in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber Cerezo in the 60th minute of play forced Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Intxixu Porregimon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jair Mitov in the 62nd minute. Gláuber Cerezo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Vinícius Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Cacá Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute Ronaldinho Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mastur Bandov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mastur Bandov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The supporters of Mexilhão F. C. booed when Jacuitiba - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cacá Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexilhão F. C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
