With an all-out effort, São Wilson's Odoy Pradhana threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Internacional's Odoy Pradhana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Internacional from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Osmar Brancos short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Shi Feng Yun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Osmar Branco could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Shi Feng Yun however easily saved by the left post. São Wilson's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Osmar Branco 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. In the 61st minute Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odoy Pradhana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bebeto da Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Shi Feng Yun made a huge save. Shi Feng Yun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvis Thomas in the 66th minute of the match.
