The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dragoş Ecobescu to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘ booed when Atlético Acreano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauã Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdomiro Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gong Zhan Chen in the 57th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Atlético Acreano got a freekick which was hit by Márcio Moraes. Valdomiro Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Henric, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘'s Nestor Batista got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Jimeno Henric shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nestor Batista fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘'s protests and gave Nestor Batista a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Dragoş Ecobescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arlindo Rossi was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game.
