Jumeuc Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Osmar dos Santos scored to the left of an out of position Emerson Paraíba, making the score, 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hamilton Luis in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Luiz de Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute Osmar dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Andriy Shevchenko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andriy Shevchenko made a great header on A.D Leônico's corner, it was just that Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Emerson Paraíba managed to reach the ball for a save. Adelino Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. André Luiz de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A.D Leônico's Alfredo Catarinense was substituted for Osmar dos Santos. The supporters of Jumeuc Futebol Clube booed when A.D Leônico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite being the better team, A.D Leônico failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
