Emanuel Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belmiro Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute, Bucaneiros's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Belmiro Lima fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Rubinho Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 31 in the game by Belmiro Lima from a close distance when the talented Emanuel Baptista managed to make a qualified save. Bucaneiros's players were relieved. Lucas Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Travassos in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Internacional de Almagro's Belmiro Lima ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emanuel Baptista. Belmiro Lima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Baptista having to make a save. Rubinho Abreu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 40th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Bucaneiros's zone, Rubinho Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Baptista came out of the goal and Rubinho Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Internacional de Almagro's Belmiro Lima ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emanuel Baptista. Emanuel Baptista yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Belmiro Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. Bucaneiros's Emanuel Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Abreu in the 50th minute of play. Emanuel Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belmiro Lima in the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Bucaneiros's goal looked a bit too open when Belmiro Lima came free, but Emanuel Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Abreu in the 86th minute of play. When Internacional de Almagro's Rubinho Abreu in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bucaneiros's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
