The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Silviano got free with Björn Åkesson in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oscar Sena took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Björn Åkesson. Björn Åkesson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Mateo Silviano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Björn Åkesson made a huge save. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind GURIZADA MEDONHA's goalkeeper Ricardo Fonseca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Björn Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36thth minute of the game Çakabey Eroğul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GURIZADA MEDONHA's Ricardo Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 38 minutes GURIZADA MEDONHA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celso de Toledo who took care of the corner kick. Celso de Toledo made a great header on Carona's corner, it was just that GURIZADA MEDONHA's Ricardo Fonseca managed to reach the ball for a save. GURIZADA MEDONHA's Ricardo Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Tróia in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute of the match Carona got a corner. GURIZADA MEDONHA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Celso de Toledo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Celso de Toledo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ricardo Fonseca quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Carona's Juarês Sanches suffered a sore thigh after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Frank Donato fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GURIZADA MEDONHA's protests and gave Frank Donato a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes GURIZADA MEDONHA got a freekick which was hit by Frank Donato. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Sena was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Çakabey Eroğul in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Fonseca saved GURIZADA MEDONHA from getting behind. If Caio Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Björn Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Sena in the 56th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Çakabey Eroğul in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Björn Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 63 minutes into the match, GURIZADA MEDONHA's goalkeeper Ricardo Fonseca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Çakabey Eroğul. After 64th play minutes Caio Tróia shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Ricardo Fonseca and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Carona's Renan Cavalcante got a free kick in the 66th minute. Björn Åkesson came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by GURIZADA MEDONHA's Jardel Dracena. But to his dismay, Jardel Dracena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Björn Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Björn Åkesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Sena in the 77th minute of play. Renan Cavalcante hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Jardel Dracena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GURIZADA MEDONHA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Björn Åkesson came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by GURIZADA MEDONHA's Oscar Sena. But to his dismay, Oscar Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. GURIZADA MEDONHA's Ricardo Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çakabey Eroğul in the 89th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Carona got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Guedes. 94 minutes into the game, Marco Tróia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Ricardo Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
