The referee ignored Doug Zappa F.C.'s protests and gave Norberto Nóbrega a yellow card for diving instead. Norberto Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 29 minutes of play Doug Zappa F.C.'s Norberto Nóbrega was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Estação F.C booed when Doug Zappa F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Nóbrega didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee showed Maurício Tróia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Estação F.C booed when Doug Zappa F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Doug Zappa F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Belmiro Figueiredo scored to the left of an out of position Iwan Kolbe, making the score, 0-1. 59 minutes into the match, Doug Zappa F.C.'s Frank Siqueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severino Vergílio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 62 minutes of play, Doug Zappa F.C.'s Rafa de Lima made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino Vergílio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Belmiro Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Iwan Kolbe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Estação F.C made a substitution. Miguel Silva replaced Nicanor Gorosti. Eliseu Cabral was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Estação F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Iwan Kolbe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Cabral in the 70th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes Estação F.C got a freekick which was hit by Adhemar Bertassi. The crowd rose to their feet as Estação F.C's Malte Örtendahl slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iwan Kolbe. That made the score 1-3 after 96 minutes of play. Estação F.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
