Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Maria Pena started the match with the kick off. Jaraguá FC's Alfredão Laguna got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Antônio Ramalho in the 9th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Jaraguá FC's Fabrício Cerezo. Valdir Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maria Pena in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Jaraguá FC's Luiz Adriano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valeri Zabelin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute of the match Jaraguá FC got a corner. A.D. Imperial's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luiz Adriano ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Maria Pena in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdir Ortiz saved Jaraguá FC from getting behind. If Zarpas Cea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdir Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Smith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 28 in the game by Akis Bouzios from a close distance when the talented Valdir Ortiz managed to make a qualified save. Jaraguá FC's players were relieved. Jaraguá FC's Alan Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valdir Ortiz made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Alexander Smith sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd match minute, Jaraguá FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Brodel to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Maria Pena in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdir Ortiz saved Jaraguá FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, José Maria Pena put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Valdir Ortiz. 42 minutes into the game, Luiz Adriano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Valeri Zabelin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nemesio Serapio hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

Jaraguá FC made a substitution. Di Marinho replaced Zarpas Cea. The wind increased when Luiz Adriano made the kick off in the second half. Despite this Valdir Ortiz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Valdir Ortiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dadá Maravilha's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 87th match minute, Jaraguá FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Serapio to maneuver through the defense. Clemente Massa struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Valdir Ortiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.D. Imperial. Akis Bouzios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Valdir Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Jaraguá FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Maravilha came free, but Valdir Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
