Ronaldo Saraiva made a great header on Ebla FC's corner, it was just that Febre Amarela's Luís Fernando Almeida managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 15th minute, Lenílson Peres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Febre Amarela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ebla FC's Wilian Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenílson Peres in the 34th minute of play. Juarês Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Febre Amarela's zone, Juarês Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Fernando Almeida came out of the goal and Juarês Figueiredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilian Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenílson Peres in the 44th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Febre Amarela's zone, Dieguinho Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After having played for 52 minutes, Washington Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Febre Amarela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Washington Lago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilian Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenílson Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dieguinho Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilian Dracena was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th match minute, Ebla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. Washington Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Dracena having to interfere. The supporters of Febre Amarela booed when Ebla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juarês Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Febre Amarela's Paulo Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juarês Figueiredo in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luís Fernando Almeida, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Febre Amarela were victorious despite being under pressure from Ebla FC for much of the match.
