After some careless play in the A. A. SAQUAREMA defense, Renatinho Tavares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelinho Quadros. The A. A. SAQUAREMA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelinho Quadros should have stopped the shot. Tomás Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Quadros having to interfere. Valdo Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Renatinho Tavares might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelinho Quadros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renatinho Tavares ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renatinho Tavares in the 26th minute of play forced A. A. SAQUAREMA's goalkeeper Marcelinho Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Marília AC booed when A. A. SAQUAREMA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdomiro Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Renatinho Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Akın Seccac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Marcelinho Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Brereton in the 41st minute of the match. Marcelinho Quadros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renatinho Tavares went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renatinho Tavares made a kick off. Nikos Koutsomitras hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. If Renatinho Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelinho Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renatinho Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renatinho Tavares in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelinho Quadros saved A. A. SAQUAREMA from getting behind. Marcelinho Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 65th minute A. A. SAQUAREMA were awarded a corner. Valdo Dracena went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Valdo Dracena almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Marília AC's Jacinto Loureiro did a great save. Marília AC made a substitution. Geronimo Ignatius replaced Eriberto Lucas. Marília AC's Jacinto Loureiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Marília AC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to A. A. SAQUAREMA getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. André Simões hit a great ball. The Marília AC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Marília AC's Delfim de Andrade looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 89th minute of the match Geronimo Ignatius shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelinho Quadros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute, Delfim de Andrade made a precise shot to the right of Marcelinho Quadros. A. A. SAQUAREMA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Marcelinho Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Marília AC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
