CJ van der Sar came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Munique's Nilmar Eger. But to his dismay, Nilmar Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Fabrício Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiusz Basinski in the 11th minute of play. Wellington Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CJ van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andoni Donadoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luisão Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, CJ van der Sar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When RENOVO's Luisão Pires in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inter de Munique's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Luisão Pires sped through Inter de Munique's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabrício Simões. 44 minutes into the match, Nilmar Eger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of CJ van der Sar. RENOVO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nilmar Eger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the game, José Vítor Nogueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. CJ van der Sar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th minute of the match RENOVO got a corner. Inter de Munique's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arkadiusz Basinski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Inter de Munique's goalie and right to Gabriel Marques. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Inter de Munique's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Luisão Pires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Fabrício Simões made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Basinski in the 69th minute of play forced Inter de Munique's goalkeeper Fabrício Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute of the match RENOVO got a corner. Inter de Munique's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag.
