Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Maverick Futebol Clube booed when Olinda FMZ DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Cocârlă didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes Maverick Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Vinícius Haaland. After 21 played minutes Olinda FMZ DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Feliks Olchowy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Raymon in the 24th minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Edinho Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Vinícius Haaland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th match minute, Maverick Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacá Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. Clemente Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edinho Paraíba having to interfere. Vinícius Haaland's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ixidor Lelerre firmly grabbed it by the left post. Vinícius Haaland struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Ixidor Lelerre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maverick Futebol Clube. Cacá Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Sebastião Perez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Olinda FMZ DMZ's Ixidor Lelerre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Haaland in the 55th minute of play. Cacá Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ixidor Lelerre having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Vinícius Haaland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deivid Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Clemente Goiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ixidor Lelerre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wit Chuchro in the 64th minute of the match. Raimundo Raymon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Edinho Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute Vinícius Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ixidor Lelerre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fabian Adriaanse fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maverick Futebol Clube's protests and gave Fabian Adriaanse a yellow card for diving instead. If Clemente Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Clemente Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Olinda FMZ DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Goiano couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Clemente Goiano could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Edinho Paraíba however easily saved by the left post. Edinho Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Raymon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wit Chuchro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ixidor Lelerre having to interfere. Olinda FMZ DMZ's Ixidor Lelerre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Neves in the 91st minute of play. Edinho Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Raymon in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th minute Vinícius Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ixidor Lelerre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Olinda FMZ DMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maverick Futebol Clube.
