With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Fernando da Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ryszard Nowak struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Carlos Fernando da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-. Gugu Mandrak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Fernando da Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Carlos Fernando da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrey Kovtun in the 40th minute of play. Ryszard Nowak scored 0-4 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Fernando da Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gugu Mandrak to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Ryszard Nowak made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 77 minutes of play, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Gugu Mandrak made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 84th minute, Gugu Mandrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
