Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wei Guang Xing took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fausto do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonçalo Matos charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonçalo Matos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Avantchê booed when MONTANHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriano Abraão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Andres van der Sar made a huge save. In the 9th minute MONTANHA were awarded a corner. Afonso Cardozo went to the cornerflag to take it. MONTANHA's Afonso Cardozo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fausto do Valle in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 13 minutes into the match, MONTANHA's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Cardoso came free, but Andres van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes Avantchê got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Rossi. Jairo Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Wei Guang Xing left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MONTANHA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience was convinced that Wei Guang Xing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fausto do Valle was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Wei Guang Xing hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Despite this Fausto do Valle quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wei Guang Xing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 31 minutes of play, MONTANHA's Afonso Cardozo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto do Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Usain Bolt in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andres van der Sar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fausto do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Cardozo in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wei Guang Xing in the 37th minute of play forced Avantchê's goalkeeper Fausto do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wei Guang Xing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andres van der Sar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Douglas Cardoso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 43 minute of play. Avantchê's Fausto do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei Guang Xing in the 46th minute of play. After the first half MONTANHA were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Avantchê's Fausto do Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Avantchê from getting a goal against them. Fausto do Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 78thth minute of the game Wei Guang Xing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avantchê's Fausto do Valle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Avantchê's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Rajoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wei Guang Xing took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto do Valle. Fausto do Valle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched MONTANHA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
