The audience was convinced that Afonso Cardozo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodoro Jacinto was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Andres van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Sierocki, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Teodoro Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Cardozo in the 8th minute of the match. Afonso Cardozo scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodoro Jacinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. São Paulo da Floresta's Teodoro Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei Guang Xing in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, MONTANHA's Wei Guang Xing nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodoro Jacinto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Teodoro Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wei Guang Xing in the 26th minute of the match. After 34 played minutes MONTANHA got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Matos. 35 minutes into the match, MONTANHA's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Sierocki came free, but Andres van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Wei Guang Xing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wei Guang Xing made a kick off. São Paulo da Floresta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Wei Guang Xing scored to the left of an out of position Teodoro Jacinto, making the score, 0-4. MONTANHA's Afonso Cardozo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís Paulo Linhares struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Andres van der Sar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for São Paulo da Floresta. Nilton Montenegro hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. São Paulo da Floresta's Teodoro Jacinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save São Paulo da Floresta from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the game, Dênis Mesquita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. São Paulo da Floresta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MONTANHA the free kick. A collision led to São Paulo da Floresta getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Dênis Mesquita hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in São Paulo da Floresta's zone, Wei Guang Xing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Jacinto came out of the goal and Wei Guang Xing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Afonso Cardozo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Teodoro Jacinto made a huge save. São Paulo da Floresta's Teodoro Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei Guang Xing in the 73rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wei Guang Xing in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Jacinto saved São Paulo da Floresta from getting behind. Teodoro Jacinto had great luck who in the 74thth minute grab hold of the ball when Wei Guang Xing from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 75th minute of the match, Afonso Cardozo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Teodoro Jacinto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by São Paulo da Floresta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Afonso Cardozo was slow to take the kick. During this time MONTANHA's players had a chance to rest. 82 minutes into the match, MONTANHA's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Sierocki came free, but Andres van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonso Cardozo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 84th playminute. In the 86th minute, Wei Guang Xing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodoro Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wei Guang Xing, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Zé Augusto Paiva hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Paulo José Lucas hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The São Paulo da Floresta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MONTANHA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
