An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Kaczanka in the 20th minute of play forced Marxistas's goalkeeper Vladimir Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michal Kaczanka in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimir Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute Sandro Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michal Kaczanka in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimir Costa saved Marxistas from getting behind. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Pedro de Amorim to make the kick off.
