The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Henrique de Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliseu Mendes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrique de Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. KEIPER F. C.'s Eliseu Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique de Lima in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to KEIPER F. C. getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Délio Valle hit a great ball. Eliseu Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Henrique de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Henrique de Lima sped through KEIPER F. C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eliseu Mendes. Eliseu Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique de Lima in the 12th minute of play. After some careless play in the KEIPER F. C. defense, Henrique de Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseu Mendes. The KEIPER F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseu Mendes should have stopped the shot. After 27 minutes of play, Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Henrique de Lima made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseu Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eliseu Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Henrique de Lima struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Eliseu Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Donzela de Ferro FBPA. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cacá Xavier to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Henrique de Lima recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eliseu Mendes. Henrique de Lima showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in KEIPER F. C.'s zone, Henrique de Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Mendes came out of the goal and Henrique de Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bebeto da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Mendes having to interfere. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Glauco Munhoz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Délio Valle, made in the 70th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Henrique de Lima sped through KEIPER F. C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eliseu Mendes. 75 minutes into the match, Henrique de Lima dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eliseu Mendes, 0-7. In the 80th minute of the game Délio Valle made a throw-in which Reginaldo de Barros played forward. Víktor Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Mendes having to interfere. Délio Valle made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Donzela de Ferro FBPA's Dany-Adams Mortier. Donzela de Ferro FBPA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
