Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valdemar de Moraes started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Vergílio in the 5th minute of play forced Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ismael Nazario Serre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wanderson Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho de Carvalho in the 6th minute of play. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Arnaldo Vergílio sped through Papunhas EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ismael Nazario Serre. Ismael Nazario Serre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaldo Vergílio went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Jos Verduin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Nazario Serre was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. The corner led Papunhas EC's Marcel Pinho to fire away a dangerous shot which Wanderson Freire despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 24th minute Jos Verduin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Nazario Serre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes, Jos Verduin made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Vergílio in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s goalkeeper Wanderson Freire had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Baiano. In the 34th minute Valdemar de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wanderson Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel Pinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wanderson Freire read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 37th minute Valdemar de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wanderson Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Karel-Jan De Winter came free, but Ismael Nazario Serre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ booed when Papunhas EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Nazario Serre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jos Verduin in the 42nd minute of play. After 44 minutes, Vítor Sampaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Papunhas EC and the UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vítor Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jos Verduin to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar de Moraes in the 52nd minute of play forced UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s goalkeeper Wanderson Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jos Verduin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Ismael Nazario Serre skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Papunhas EC from getting a goal against them. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Jos Verduin got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valdemar de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wanderson Freire having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jos Verduin in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Nazario Serre saved Papunhas EC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Arnaldo Vergílio sped through Papunhas EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ismael Nazario Serre. Wanderson Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar de Moraes in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Marcel Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wanderson Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute Valdemar de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wanderson Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Papunhas EC's Christian Baiano in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Tomás Rosado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael Nazario Serre in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Papunhas EC's Valdemar de Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jos Verduin took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Nazario Serre. Ismael Nazario Serre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. Tomás Rosado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Ismael Nazario Serre skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
