When Emerson Pirani fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bayern Lessa - u21's protests and gave Emerson Pirani a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Bayern Lessa - u21 got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Pirani. 10 minutes into the match, Marco Seco notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bayern Lessa - u21's Mateus Mello. Mateus Mello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cássio Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Marco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Mello having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bayern Lessa - u21's zone, Marco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateus Mello came out of the goal and Marco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. INTER FC's Léo Trigo suffered a sore foot after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of INTER FC booed when Bayern Lessa - u21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the INTER FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Seco couldn't finish the play. Emerson Cruz scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateus Mello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mateus Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Seco in the 38th minute of play. Marco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Mateus Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. INTER FC's Leon Kosmatka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save INTER FC from getting a goal against them. Mateus Mello came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by INTER FC's Marco Seco. But to his dismay, Marco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emerson Cruz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fiori de Lara's late challenge caught a Bayern Lessa - u21's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fiori de Lara helped the player get up and apologised. Marcelo Valverde kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Mateus Mello made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Marco Seco sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Marco Seco took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Mateus Mello to make any attempt to save it. INTER FC's Hortêncio Linhares was substituted for Marco Seco. In the 69th minute, Hortêncio Linhares fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mateus Mello, passed just outside the right post. Leon Kosmatka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beau Bonnafoux in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hortêncio Linhares got free with Mateus Mello in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, Mandi Oca made a precise shot to the right of Mateus Mello. Bayern Lessa - u21's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Mateus Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hortêncio Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Mateus Mello was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Marcelo Valverde capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcelo Valverde really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Leon Kosmatka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Pereira in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute of the match, Mandi Oca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mateus Mello saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 95th match minute, Bayern Lessa - u21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Loyola to maneuver through the defense. The Bayern Lessa - u21 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. INTER FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
