In the 22nd minute Nilton Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilton Fontes in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony Chaves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, SE Palestra Itália's Tony Chaves got control of the ball when Nilton Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clayton Sergi in the 27th minute of play forced Matadores FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Mendes came free, but Aloísio Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Clayton Sergi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aloísio Abreu was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. With a little luck, SE Palestra Itália's Tony Chaves got control of the ball when Nilton Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristóvão Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Abreu having to interfere. Aloísio Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. SE Palestra Itália's Acar Buğrahan was substituted for Clayton Sergi. Matadores FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Tony Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Aloísio Abreu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristóvão Madureira in the 87th minute. After 91 played minutes Matadores FC got a freekick which was hit by Gernando Hermes. Bruno Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Abreu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SE Palestra Itália's Alfredão Corrêa got a free kick in the 95th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
