TAQUARI FC's Rodolfo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Siqueira in the 4th minute of play. When Elias Siqueira came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Arsenal de Gols F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Siqueira couldn't finish the play. Elias Siqueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodolfo Salgado having to make a save. After a rather tough play, TAQUARI FC's Frank Lampard got a free kick in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the game, Elias Siqueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rodolfo Salgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erasmo Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Marcelo Gröhe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TAQUARI FC. After having played for 32 minutes, Jan-Joost Grootjans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal de Gols F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Joost Grootjans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Arsenal de Gols F.C's Elias Siqueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodolfo Salgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 35 minutes TAQUARI FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luiz Fabiano Sarmento who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Arsenal de Gols F.C getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jan-Joost Grootjans hit a great ball. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Marcelo Gröhe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal de Gols F.C from getting a goal against them. After the first half Arsenal de Gols F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erasmo Gaspar made a kick off. Rodolfo Salgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Siqueira in the 50th minute. Rodolfo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Siqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Rodolfo Salgado came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal de Gols F.C's Elias Siqueira. But to his dismay, Elias Siqueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jan-Joost Grootjans struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Rodolfo Salgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal de Gols F.C. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arsenal de Gols F.C's goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Erasmo Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the TAQUARI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Gaspar couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Alvarenga came free, but Rodolfo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimundo Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Rodolfo Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Raimundo Alvarenga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodolfo Salgado, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Gaspar in the 94th minute of play forced Arsenal de Gols F.C's goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
