David Seaman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Vinicio Junior fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Freire having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, Jenipapo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Aníbal Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Dorival Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duda Velloso in the 13th minute of play. Dorival Freire made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Carlos Monteiro in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Aníbal Alagoano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorival Freire was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 18th minute Duda Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Seaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Aníbal Alagoano could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Dorival Freire however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Jenipapo SC booed when Premier FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Alaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorival Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Vinicio Junior scored 2-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dorival Freire, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlin Haaland in the 45th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper David Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Duda Velloso made a kick off. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pompiliu Poalelungi hit a great ball. The audience cheered when Dudu Gaspar's long shot passed David Seaman's right side. It was 2-2, 53 minutes into the match. David Seaman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duda Velloso in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Premier FC's goalkeeper Dorival Freire, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raphael Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Freire having to interfere. Dorival Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Alagoano in the 63rd minute of the match. Duda Velloso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but David Seaman made a huge save. A hard shot 68 in the game by Duda Velloso from a close distance when the talented David Seaman managed to make a qualified save. Jenipapo SC's players were relieved. Aníbal Alagoano struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Dorival Freire didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jenipapo SC. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Lira in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute Aníbal Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Seaman came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Premier FC's Ermegildo Edorta. But to his dismay, Ermegildo Edorta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. With a little luck, Jenipapo SC's David Seaman got control of the ball when Duda Velloso tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jenipapo SC's Raphael Cunha in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Premier FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Premier FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
