Artur de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Freire having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duda Velloso got free with Wiliam Simão in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Souza took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorival Freire. Dorival Freire dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 15th minute Diego Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Premier FC's zone, Diego Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorival Freire came out of the goal and Diego Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the game, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Diego Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dorival Freire made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 24 minutes Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dudu Gaspar who took care of the corner kick. Erlin Haaland hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, Diego Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Dorival Freire was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Wiliam Simão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute, Diego Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dorival Freire was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Souza in the 37th minute of play forced Premier FC's goalkeeper Dorival Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Diego Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorival Freire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Premier FC's Duda Velloso got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

56 minutes into the match, Premier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Souza came free, but Dorival Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Erlin Haaland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wiliam Simão. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erlin Haaland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Onur Kaya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorival Freire having to make a save. Dorival Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 79 minutes into the match, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Diego Souza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorival Freire narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Premier FC's Dorival Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Souza in the 81st minute of play. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Juan Aleso was substituted for Artur de Andrade. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ made a substitution. Silas de Brito replaced Oier Lopez de Toro. The corner led to Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Onur Kaya getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Tiago Vidal got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 91st minute, Marco Alaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Premier FC's Dorival Freire proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Premier FC from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute Tiago Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erlin Haaland kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
