With a little luck, Família Ressaca MZ's João Paulo Silva got control of the ball when Sandro Aguiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olavo Linares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovanni Baptista went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Natalio Centenales put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Olavo Linares. 27 minutes into the match, Geovanni Baptista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olavo Linares. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovanni Baptista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Natalio Centenales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Olavo Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Elias Vale got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kauã Tróia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Natalio Centenales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Olavo Linares made a huge save. In the 55th minute, Natalio Centenales left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Família Ressaca MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Natalio Centenales took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Olavo Linares to make any attempt to save it. 91 minutes into the match, Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's goalkeeper Olavo Linares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natalio Centenales. Olavo Linares was a little too slow when Natalio Centenales got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-12. Família Ressaca MZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
