Armando Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Centenales, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joris Scheer in the 17th minute of play forced Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper João Paulo Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Família Ressaca MZ got a corner. S.C.CHUÍ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wojciech Rutecki ran over to the corner to take the kick. João Paulo Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joris Scheer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Família Ressaca MZ's João Paulo Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardinho Abreu in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Joris Scheer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Família Ressaca MZ's Wojciech Rutecki got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41st match minute, S.C.CHUÍ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Gamarra to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardinho Abreu in the 46th minute of play forced Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper João Paulo Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavier Laureys kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Derwin Valensuela's late challenge caught a Família Ressaca MZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho do Vale in the 81st minute of the match. Armando Cerezo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natalio Centenales's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. The supporters of Família Ressaca MZ booed when S.C.CHUÍ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. The S.C.CHUÍ players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Família Ressaca MZ from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
