Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gernando Azevedo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute of the match Los Andes FC - FSCMZ got a corner. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arjen Robben ran over to the corner to take the kick. Esen Sanal came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo. But to his dismay, Gernando Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gustavo Scarpa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Esen Sanal made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Roman Quexal got a free kick in the 13th minute. With a little luck, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Esen Sanal got control of the ball when Gernando Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Siekkötter came free, but Ruy Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes Gernando Azevedo rounded S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Esen Sanal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Azevedo in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to S.E.R. Caxias do Sul getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Tarcisio Mangueira hit a great ball. Esen Sanal came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo. But to his dismay, Gernando Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Gernando Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ruy Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Augusto in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Gernando Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gernando Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute Gernando Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esen Sanal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Andolín Dijk got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 47 minutes, Andolín Dijk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Andes FC - FSCMZ and the S.E.R. Caxias do Sul players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andolín Dijk kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
Esen Sanal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andolín Dijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gernando Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Gernando Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esen Sanal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the game, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esen Sanal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Ruy Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Renato Augusto sent off a good shot on target. Gernando Azevedo took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esen Sanal. Esen Sanal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. With a little luck, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro got control of the ball when Krisztián Véber tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruy Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Renato Augusto sent off a good shot on target. 6-1 became the score in the 82nd minute when Lei Feng Yan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Azevedo in the 84th minute of play forced S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Esen Sanal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Siekkötter in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute Gernando Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esen Sanal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Los Andes FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Gernando Azevedo hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the S.E.R. Caxias do Sul players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Andes FC - FSCMZ.
