Anier Tome kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Virgilio Florin struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Fabian Sayveon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ascasubi. Justo Rainerio was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Fausto Roldanillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fausto Roldanillo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Ascasubi's Justo Rainerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Thomas in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ascasubi's Saturnino Frederico got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute Virgilio Florin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Sayveon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Ascasubi's Saverio Laurin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Saverio Laurin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ascasubi protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Saverio Laurin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 16th minute, one of Ascasubi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ascasubi. Eusebio Frasco struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Fabian Sayveon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ascasubi. After a rather tough play, Ibáñez AFC's Luiz Fabiano Dias got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of Ibáñez AFC booed when Ascasubi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Frasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ascasubi's Óscar Maia got a free kick in the 35th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Justo Rainerio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 39 minutes into the match, Ibáñez AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Ferrer came free, but Fabian Sayveon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ascasubi's Justo Rainerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Ascasubi from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibáñez AFC's goalkeeper Fabian Sayveon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Justo Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Thomas in the 52nd minute of play. Arnoldo Oier kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Roldanillo in the 61st minute of play forced Ascasubi's goalkeeper Justo Rainerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Óscar Maia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Sayveon having to make a save. A hard, long distance shot from Óscar Maia flew over the goal. After some careless play in the Ascasubi defense, Anier Tome kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justo Rainerio. The Ascasubi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justo Rainerio should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Ibáñez AFC's zone, Niceto Ferrer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Sayveon came out of the goal and Niceto Ferrer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niceto Ferrer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Sayveon having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Fausto Roldanillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Justo Rainerio. Ascasubi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Roldanillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 96th minute Baldomiro Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ascasubi's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Ibáñez AFC had won, even though Ascasubi had held more of the ball.
