Aaron Quiroga made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Leonel Rubio sent off a good shot on target. Emiliano Ugaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Santa Fe Tatengue FC's Prospero Salvator was substituted for Domingos Nayely. After a rather tough play, Arizona's Emiliano Ugaitz got a free kick in the 49th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Leonel Rubio made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelino Cresenciano during the 53rd minute. Rodolfo Gotzon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Oscar Franco made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Arizona's Tomasz Falke got a free kick in the 84th minute. Arizona made a substitution. Lucio Venceslas replaced Raimundo Errapel. After 85 played minutes Arizona got a freekick which was hit by Tomasz Falke. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Rodolfo Gotzon took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Oscar Franco to make any attempt to save it. After 91 minutes, Edgardo Ponciano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arizona and the Santa Fe Tatengue FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edgardo Ponciano kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Lucio Venceslas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arizona's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Venceslas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Quiroga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 97 minutes into the match, Santa Fe Tatengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Ugaitz came free, but Aaron Quiroga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Franco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Gotzon in the 98th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Arizona fans cheered their team off the field, for while Santa Fe Tatengue FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
