Penalty! 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 11 played minutes, when Patricio Rey F.C.:s Victorino Domeka calmly waited for Fondo FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Raí Mello charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raí Mello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Raí Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th match minute, Patricio Rey F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raí Mello to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Fondo FC's Anselmo Donostia tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Patricio Rey F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fondo FC:s goal. Esteve Dubardo had in the 22ndth minute some difficulties stopping Desiderio Camerino's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Delmiro Peio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Patricio Paz firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience was convinced that Reynaldo Rocendo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteve Dubardo was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 28th minute Desiderio Camerino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Dubardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Fondo FC fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Fondo FC's Andres Martino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Delmiro Peio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 99th minute, Benigno Nataniel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Patricio Rey F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Patricio Rey F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
