Ignacio Domiku showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Sayveon, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 19 minutes, Romulo Natanael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aguapey FC and the Palmitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Aguapey FC got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Natanael. Ignacio Domiku stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santo Hodei's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Palmitas's Genaro Jakobe got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aguapey FC's Ignacio Domiku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Galsino in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Hodei in the 35th minute of play forced Aguapey FC's goalkeeper Ignacio Domiku to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Galsino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tomas Ledesma came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Aguapey FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Ledesma couldn't finish the play. Ambrosio Ciano might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Isauro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ambrosio Ciano ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Ledesma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Isauro having to interfere. Romulo Alvarez's late challenge caught a Aguapey FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romulo Alvarez helped the player get up and apologised. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauricio Galsino made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Aguapey FC's zone, Santo Hodei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Domiku came out of the goal and Santo Hodei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Aguapey FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Romulo Natanael hit a great ball. Mauricio Galsino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Domiku having to interfere. Fabio Michael hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Santo Hodei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ignacio Domiku tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
