After 12 minutes, Gaspar Pelagius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rangel and the hiroshima players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of hiroshima booed when Rangel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Pelagius didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Gaspar Pes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orlando Henric made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by hiroshima's Ceferino Errando. German Nayely charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Nayely the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Israel Frutos made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by hiroshima's Ceferino Errando. Jaime Iyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Pes in the 27th minute of play. Jaime Iyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Errando in the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Ceferino Errando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. hiroshima's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceferino Errando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaime Iyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Vedillo in the 40th minute of the match. Dionisio Vedillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gaspar Pelagius kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Ceferino Errando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Iyan having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dionisio Vedillo was the one to do the kick off. Ceferino Errando kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Gaspar Pelagius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabricio Azibar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. hiroshima's Dionisio Vedillo managed to work through Rangel's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Dionisio Vedillo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 57th minute, Ceferino Errando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaime Iyan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With 61 minutes on the clock, Angelino Rio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Angelino Rio hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 67thth minute of the game Dionisio Vedillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rangel's Jaime Iyan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ceferino Errando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rangel's Jaime Iyan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Rangel from getting a goal against them. hiroshima's Dionisio Vedillo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 87 played minutes hiroshima got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Lawrence. After 89 played minutes hiroshima got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Errando. Gaspar Pelagius struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Fabricio Azibar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rangel. 94 minutes into the match, hiroshima's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Lesardo came free, but Fabricio Azibar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
