The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Lorenzo Lorencio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FILIAL RAFAELA CANALLA's Robinho de Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcelo Solustiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Javier Ponce went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Javier Ponce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ariel Reynardo got free with Robinho de Almeida in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Robinho de Almeida managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Naranjito FC's Remigio Orlin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Remigio Orlin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Robinho de Almeida when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Naranjito FC booed when FILIAL RAFAELA CANALLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Clodio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Lorenzo Lorencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FILIAL RAFAELA CANALLA fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when FILIAL RAFAELA CANALLA's Javier Ponce looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Remigio Orlin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Robinho de Almeida made a huge save. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Naranjito FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Solustiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robinho de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Lorencio in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Javier Ponce notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Naranjito FC's Marcelo Solustiano. Marcelo Solustiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 35 played minutes FILIAL RAFAELA CANALLA got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Ixaka. Marcelo Solustiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Lauaxeta in the 38th minute of play. Robinho de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Lorencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Javier Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot. FILIAL RAFAELA CANALLA's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Ponce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Solustiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Remigio Orlin kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albano Lauaxeta in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Solustiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute, Lorenzo Lorencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Solustiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Javier Ponce's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half FILIAL RAFAELA CANALLA were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lorenzo Lorencio to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Naranjito FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FILIAL RAFAELA CANALLA:s goal. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for FILIAL RAFAELA CANALLA. Javier Ponce stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcelo Solustiano. 0-4. Marcelo Solustiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Ponce, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute Remigio Orlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Naranjito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Orlin to maneuver through the defense. Naranjito FC's Marcelo Solustiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Lauaxeta in the 80th minute of play. Javier Ponce who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Marcelo Solustiano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in FILIAL RAFAELA CANALLA's zone, Lorenzo Lorencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robinho de Almeida came out of the goal and Lorenzo Lorencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Javier Ponce did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Marcelo Solustiano 85 minutes into the match. A hard shot 89 in the game by Javier Ponce from a close distance when the talented Marcelo Solustiano managed to make a qualified save. Naranjito FC's players were relieved. Javier Ponce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Marcelo Solustiano made a huge save. When the match was over FILIAL RAFAELA CANALLA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Naranjito FC throughout the match.
