The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lázaro Baez during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes TheLegends got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Baez. The supporters of APUNTALE A LOS TOBILLOS booed when TheLegends was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Rufio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, TheLegends's Aldo Rufio got a free kick in the 18th minute. Gabriel Poz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Farid Mondragón 20 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gavino Endira got free with Farid Mondragón in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Farid Mondragón made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavino Endira in the 27th minute. Teodoro Tano came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Farid Mondragón could save by the left post. In the 32nd minute of the match, Gabriel Poz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Farid Mondragón saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Teodoro Tanos short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Farid Mondragón to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lázaro Baez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Riquelme having to interfere. After a rather tough play, APUNTALE A LOS TOBILLOS's Gavino Endira got a free kick in the 40th minute. Jose Riquelme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Baez in the 44th minute of the match. Farid Mondragón didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro Tano went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score.

When Lázaro Baez came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the TheLegends fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Baez couldn't finish the play. Farid Mondragón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Poz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Santiago Playo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Mondragón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Poz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Farid Mondragón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to TheLegends getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Aldo Rufio hit a great ball. Jose Riquelme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lázaro Baez in the 68th minute. In the 69th match minute, APUNTALE A LOS TOBILLOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Endira to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 70 minutes, Aldo Rufio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TheLegends's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Rufio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mauricio Rodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Gavino Endira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Farid Mondragón. TheLegends's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavino Endira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Mauricio Rodas struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Jose Riquelme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TheLegends. Aldo Rufio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Riquelme having to interfere. 91 minutes in the game, Lázaro Baez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jose Riquelme having to interfere. Teodoro Tano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Farid Mondragón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. APUNTALE A LOS TOBILLOS were victorious despite being under pressure from TheLegends for much of the match.
