The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gibson FC's Fernando Iztal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Gibson FC from getting a goal against them. Fernando Iztal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Unax in the 5th minute. Fausto Unax's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Iztal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Gibson FC's Santo Mendez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abelardo Evarado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fausto Unax could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Fernando Iztal made a huge save. Fernando Iztal came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by LA FORTALEZA DE SEMENTO's Maximino Remigio. But to his dismay, Maximino Remigio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cândido Sousa in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Evarado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xoan Barcenas in the 27th minute of play forced LA FORTALEZA DE SEMENTO's goalkeeper Abelardo Evarado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Evarado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xoan Barcenas in the 28th minute of the match. LA FORTALEZA DE SEMENTO's Abelardo Evarado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Pepillo in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, LA FORTALEZA DE SEMENTO's Fausto Unax ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernando Iztal. Fernando Iztal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. When Cândido Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Gibson FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cândido Sousa couldn't finish the play. Abelardo Evarado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xoan Barcenas in the 40th minute of the match. Gibson FC's Fernando Iztal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Gibson FC from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute Cândido Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Cândido Sousa made the kick off in the second half. When Maximino Remigio fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA FORTALEZA DE SEMENTO's protests and gave Maximino Remigio a yellow card for diving instead. Maximino Remigio hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. LA FORTALEZA DE SEMENTO's Abelardo Evarado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cândido Sousa in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute Xacintu Banzola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Iztal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldo Eladio went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute, Maximino Remigio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xoan Barcenas got free with Abelardo Evarado in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gibson FC's goalkeeper Fernando Iztal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabricio Ciceron's late challenge caught a Gibson FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabricio Ciceron helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to LA FORTALEZA DE SEMENTO getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Fabricio Ciceron hit a great ball. Fernando Iztal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Eladio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LA FORTALEZA DE SEMENTO's Maximino Remigio got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Maximino Remigio off the ground. Maximino Remigio kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Osvaldo Eladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Eladio notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Gibson FC's Fernando Iztal. Fernando Iztal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Vicente Danel fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gibson FC's protests and gave Vicente Danel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Vicente Danel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gibson FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LA FORTALEZA DE SEMENTO.
