Eliseo Felipillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florencio Chinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Abilio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florencio Chinto ran back to his position shaking his head. 11 minutes into the match, C.A. Temueve's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Osoro came free, but Eliseo Felipillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Felipillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Osoro in the 14th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Felix Osoro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eliseo Felipillo. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Eliseo Felipillo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Osoro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. Florencio Chinto succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. In the 35th minute, Pelle Svanberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Florencio Chinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Abilio having to interfere. Eliseo Felipillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Jorrin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Atlético Santa Fe FC's Felix Osoro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Eliseo Felipillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Osoro in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pelle Svanberg made a kick off. Samuel Jorrin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 58 minutes, Marcelo Reno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Santa Fe FC and the C.A. Temueve players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Marcelo Reno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of C.A. Temueve booed when Atlético Santa Fe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Dolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th match minute, C.A. Temueve was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Ipar to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pelle Svanberg in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Abilio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Florencio Chinto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zeledon Abilio. That made the score 4-2 in the 74 minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, C.A. Temueve's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Osoro came free, but Eliseo Felipillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Hernan Oroitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Osoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, C.A. Temueve's Hernan Oroitz got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Atlético Santa Fe FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while C.A. Temueve had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
