Salvador Kimetz charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Kimetz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Everardo Abella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Potrerillo FC's attentive Jose Kepa managed to snatch the ball when Ladislao Remigio made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. When Roque Favila fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sin Contrato FC's protests and gave Roque Favila a yellow card for diving instead. Roque Favila kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sin Contrato FC's zone, Everardo Abella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. German Brais came out of the goal and Everardo Abella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Ladislao Remigio in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Potrerillo FC's Jose Kepa. Delmiro Felo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Remigio in the 22nd minute of play. Ladislao Remigio scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delmiro Felo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Delmiro Felo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Favila in the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Roque Favila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Felo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sin Contrato FC's Maximiliano Kaxen got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Everardo Abella managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potrerillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Abella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. German Brais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delmiro Felo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Tipi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 played minutes Sin Contrato FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Tipi. Benicio James charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benicio James the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Potrerillo FC booed when Sin Contrato FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio James didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Everardo Abella to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benicio James got free with Delmiro Felo in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Favila in the 58th minute of play forced Potrerillo FC's goalkeeper Delmiro Felo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sin Contrato FC's zone, Everardo Abella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After having played for 66 minutes, Everardo Abella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potrerillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everardo Abella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Potrerillo FC's Oscar Aguilera quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Isaias Tipi, made in the 68th minute of the game. Godofredo Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Everardo Abella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roque Favila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Felo having to interfere. German Brais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Abella in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Victorino Hitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sin Contrato FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Hitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Everardo Abella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Ladislao Remigio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle went the supporters of Sin Contrato FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Potrerillo FC side.
