Eustaquio Cordarrell ran back to his position shaking his head. Reynaldo Naldo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Cordarrell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Pabla. Machigasta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustaquio Cordarrell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A collision led to Machigasta getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Saverio Gaitan hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Cordarrell got free with David Pabla in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustaquio Cordarrell in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Pabla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucas Aguirre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Machigasta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Silvano Beliran was slow to take the kick. During this time Leon FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Leon FC's Silvano Beliran to fire away a dangerous shot which David Pabla despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With his leg David Pabla managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Leon FC's Eustaquio Cordarrell fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eustaquio Cordarrell in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of David Pabla, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lucas Aguirre kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Eustaquio Cordarrell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Machigasta's David Pabla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabian Libertad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Pabla having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Cordareo to make the kick off. Lucas Aguirre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Pabla having to interfere. After having played for 55 minutes, Eustaquio Cordarrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Cordarrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Joaquin Froila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Machigasta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leon FC the free kick. In the 64th minute, Joaquin Froila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Libertad took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Pabla. David Pabla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Eustaquio Cordarrell struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. David Pabla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leon FC. Lucas Aguirre kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. David Pabla didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Leon FC's Eustaquio Cordarrell shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. David Pabla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustaquio Cordarrell's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 89th match minute, Machigasta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Orlo to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Eustaquio Cordarrell sped through Machigasta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Pabla. Leon FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
