The supporters of Rinconada booed when Hidalgo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Hibai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Drago Protić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Bartuelo in the 11th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Elvio Beltxe put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Drago Protić. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elvio Beltxe got free with Drago Protić in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Bero's late challenge caught a Hidalgo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Bero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Rinconada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Bero to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Vasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute, Enzo Resto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elvio Beltxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dario Bartuelo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Drago Protić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rinconada. In the 31st minute, Rinconada's Dario Bartuelo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Dario Bartuelo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 37th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Amancio Oriol hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Dario Bartuelo struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Drago Protić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rinconada. Elvio Beltxe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Drago Protić skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mariano Vasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dario Bartuelo made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Elvio Beltxe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drago Protić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Bartuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dario Bartuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hidalgo FC's Drago Protić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Beltxe in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Dario Bartuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rinconada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Bartuelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, Dario Bartuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amancio Oriol hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Dario Bartuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Hidalgo FC's Isidoro Gau got a free kick in the 70th minute. Dario Bartuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Dario Bartuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rinconada's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Bartuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Drago Protić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elvio Beltxe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Drago Protić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute of the match Roque Herena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Drago Protić showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hidalgo FC's Drago Protić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Bartuelo in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Elvio Beltxe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dario Bartuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rinconada walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
