Adan James was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Alberto Salomone capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alberto Salomone really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Faustino Ortzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Abel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adan James made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naelio Monesterio in the 14th minute. Gustavo Abel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Faustino Ortzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adan James took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Salomone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Naelio Monesterio got free with Adan James in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adan James made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naelio Monesterio in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute Alberto Salomone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan James saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Raimundo Iago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After having played for 31 minutes, Naelio Monesterio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amboy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naelio Monesterio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Eliseo Txerran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Puntos Cardenales FC's Adan James played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Salomone in the 35th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Amboy got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Gaufred. In the 37th minute, Eliseo Txerran sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Amboy's Faustino Ortzi didn't even have to move. Naelio Monesterios short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Adan James to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eliseo Txerran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gustavo Abel made the kick off in the second half. When Gustavo Abel came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Los Puntos Cardenales FC fans jumped to their feet.
