Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Victorio Hug got the match started through his kick off. In the 9th minute, Honorato Raphael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Kakarotto getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Godofredo Boni hit a great ball. Kakarotto's Norberto Martxelin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Hug in the 14th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruperto Deunoro during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Gualeguay AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Deunoro to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Horacio Javiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Hunfredo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Luís Fernando Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Maria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Fernando Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Roland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Higinio Maria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruperto Deunoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Fernando Severo in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Maria saved Gualeguay AFC from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Fernando Severo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luís Fernando Severo struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Higinio Maria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kakarotto. Victorio Hug took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Martxelin. Norberto Martxelin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Godofredo Boni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Higinio Maria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Kakarotto's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Hug came free, but Norberto Martxelin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Fernando Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norberto Martxelin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Hug, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gualeguay AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Danilo Izel hit a great ball. Luís Fernando Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Higinio Maria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorato Raphael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Norberto Martxelin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kakarotto's Elpidio Shepherd got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Norberto Martxelin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Raphael in the 75th minute of the match. Ruperto Deunoro hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Luís Fernando Severo came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Kakarotto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fernando Severo couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Victorio Hug got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Luís Fernando Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kakarotto players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gualeguay AFC.
