Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Wanchuray's Eusebio Bernad started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Higinio Fliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Elizardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Higinio Fliz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Garci's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Cornelio Inautzi was a little too slow when Eusebio Bernad got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-1. Wanchuray's Higinio Fliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Elizardo in the 22nd minute of play. Pedro Garci kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Bernardo Elizardo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Plátanos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Elizardo couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute Pedro Garci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Fliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Elizardo succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Higinio Fliz came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Plátanos's Pedro Garci. But to his dismay, Pedro Garci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Alonzo Vitin's late challenge caught a Plátanos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alonzo Vitin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wanchuray's Alonzo Vitin got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Garci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Amador Lazcano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plátanos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amador Lazcano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Plátanos's Bernardo Elizardo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Higinio Fliz. That made the score 1-4 after 55 minutes of play. Pedro Garci who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Higinio Fliz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pedro Garci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Fliz having to interfere. Bernardo Elizardo in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Higinio Fliz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Angelino Aurre kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Higinio Fliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Lazcano, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 74th minute, Alonzo Vitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Plátanos's Cornelio Inautzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Bernad in the 78th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Bernardo Elizardo notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Wanchuray's Higinio Fliz. Higinio Fliz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 89 in the game by Pedro Garci from a close distance when the talented Higinio Fliz managed to make a qualified save. Wanchuray's players were relieved. The supporters of Plátanos booed when Wanchuray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Abecia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Plátanos's Bernardo Elizardo got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Plátanos's Pedro Garci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Higinio Fliz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Plátanos played a much better game than Wanchuray and deserved their victory. The Wanchuray players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
