Juvenal Batista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, Ferrocarrilera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Tolino came free, but Juvenal Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Virila in the 27th minute of play forced Campobasso FC's goalkeeper Tomás Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edelmiro Oihan charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edelmiro Oihan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ferrocarrilera AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gonzalo Crispo in the 69th minute.
