Reynaldo Corderun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charles Puyol went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Charles Puyol might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Corderun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charles Puyol ran back to his position shaking his head. Jairo Estebe took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynaldo Corderun. Reynaldo Corderun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Jairo Estebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rositinto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Estebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Corderun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Charles Puyol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Slija AFC's Reynaldo Corderun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Estebe in the 37th minute of play. Jairo Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Reynaldo Corderun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erubiel Guillen made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Erubiel Guillen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jairo Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61stth minute of the game Jairo Estebe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Slija AFC's Reynaldo Corderun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
