After 20 played minutes bayern united got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Ezkerra. 25 minutes into the game, bayern united's Haroldo Sabino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ildefonso Millrick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Castel got free with Eloy Eneko in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ambrosio Castel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Eloy Eneko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ildefonso Millrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Sabino in the 39th minute of the match. Igor Ler charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Ler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. bayern united's Eloy Eneko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save bayern united from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Haroldo Sabino made the kick off in the second half. Haroldo Sabino spun around in front of the goal 54 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Boca Juniors's goal. After 57 minutes, Severo Leizarraga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the bayern united and the Boca Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, Siro Leguizamón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Arnoldo Fernanco managed to get in a good position for a shot. bayern united's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Fernanco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ildefonso Millrick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
