Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edwardo Haslett kicked off to start the match. Goicó's Hernan Ceandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwardo Haslett in the 6th minute of play. Bonifacio Gipuzkoa's late challenge caught a Rapanui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonifacio Gipuzkoa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, Goicó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Gipuzkoa to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Rapanui getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Edwardo Haslett hit a great ball. Edwardo Haslett scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hernan Ceandro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baldomero Argenis charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomero Argenis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Goicó getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Baldomero Argenis hit a great ball. The throw-in from Lucio Bernabel in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Rapanui's Florentino Suero. Urbano Uhin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Urbano Uhin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Hernan Ceandro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enzo Ospin struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Hernan Ceandro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rapanui. After having played for 36 minutes, Urbano Uhin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rapanui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Uhin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Goicó's Ernesto Arias in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rapanui's goalie prevented a goal. Amador Hechter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Gizon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Goicó players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rapanui were winning 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcos Gizon made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Goicó's goal looked a bit too open when Edwardo Haslett came free, but Hernan Ceandro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Goicó's Baldomero Argenis in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rapanui's goalie prevented a goal. Amador Hechter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Gizon in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Goicó's Edgardo Guib got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 67th minute, Baldomero Argenis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amador Hechter was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The throw-in from Lucio Bernabel in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Rapanui's Ambrosio Bemabe. With a little luck, Goicó's Hernan Ceandro got control of the ball when Edwardo Haslett tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edwardo Haslett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernan Ceandro having to make a save. After 81 played minutes Goicó got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Gizon. Amador Hechter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Gizon, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Goicó's goal looked a bit too open when Edwardo Haslett came free, but Hernan Ceandro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Ceandro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edwardo Haslett in the 93rd minute.
