Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcos Gizon took the kick off in the first half of the match. Guillermo Rudolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Gizon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th play minute Baldomero Argenis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Guillermo Rudolfo. 1-0. Marcos Gizon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Guillermo Rudolfo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Guillermo Rudolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Gizon in the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, German Igon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Alto Guiso's zone, Marcos Gizon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillermo Rudolfo came out of the goal and Marcos Gizon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergio Nardo in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Ceandro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hernan Ceandro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergio Nardo's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Alto Guiso's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Gizon came free, but Guillermo Rudolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Alto Guiso booed when Goicó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Madeo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alto Guiso's Guillermo Rudolfo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Alto Guiso from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute of the game Apolo Betadur made a throw-in which Ernesto Arias played forward. Marcos Gizon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Guillermo Rudolfo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Alto Guiso's Guillermo Rudolfo got control of the ball when Marcos Gizon tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Goicó getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Rolando Madeo hit a great ball. Cecilio Viator recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd match minute, Goicó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Madeo to maneuver through the defense. If Enrique Cebrian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillermo Rudolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Argenis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Alto Guiso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillermo Rudolfo should have stopped the shot. After 73 minutes, Marcos Gizon made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Alto Guiso's Guillermo Rudolfo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Goicó booed when Alto Guiso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Arnalt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Alto Guiso's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Gizon came free, but Guillermo Rudolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Gizon in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillermo Rudolfo saved Alto Guiso from getting behind. Guillermo Rudolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Argenis, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Guillermo Rudolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Gizon in the 85th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Gizon in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillermo Rudolfo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 92 minutes into the match, Sergio Nardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernan Ceandro. Goicó's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sergio Nardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Alto Guiso's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
