The audience was convinced that Dalmacio Orain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andres Lizar was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 6th minute, Alonzo Urtsua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Norino in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Lizar saved Atletico VICAM from getting behind. Emilio Norino took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andres Lizar. Andres Lizar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Atletico VICAM booed when Wildermuth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Norino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Atletico VICAM's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Orain came free, but Andres Lizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelino Gorosti struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Andres Lizar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wildermuth. When Dalmacio Orain came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Wildermuth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Orain couldn't finish the play. Marcelino Gorosti kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Silverio Rudolfo came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Feliberto Garoa could save by the left post. Wildermuth's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Daniel Ermengol 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. The supporters of Atletico VICAM booed when Wildermuth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Ferrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atletico VICAM's Andres Lizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Norino in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dalmacio Orain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Feliberto Garoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Ermengol in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Orain in the 56th minute of play forced Atletico VICAM's goalkeeper Andres Lizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliberto Garoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Rudolfo in the 71st minute of play. If Silverio Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Ermengol in the 79th minute of play forced Wildermuth's goalkeeper Feliberto Garoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliberto Garoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Rudolfo in the 86th minute of the match. Atletico VICAM's Anastasio Florian suffered a fractured collar bone after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Marcelino Gorosti charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Gorosti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Wildermuth getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Marcelino Gorosti hit a great ball. Feliberto Garoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Rudolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Emilio Norino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Andres Lizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Wildermuth players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
