In the 47thth minute of the game Anier Qwinton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liebig 's Ciro Crescencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teofilo Banegas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute of the match Silvio Nicholas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciro Crescencio skillfully saved the ball. Liebig 's Teofilo Banegas got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. German Geleberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Banegas in the 63rd minute of the match. Asociación Taficilio FC's Silvio Nicholas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 67th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ciro Crescencio but with some difficulty. Anier Qwinton struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Ciro Crescencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asociación Taficilio FC. In the 72nd minute, one of Asociación Taficilio FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Asociación Taficilio FC. The referee gave Liebig a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Celso Orlanda, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Asociación Taficilio FC's German Geleberto. 2-0. In the 80th minute, Wilfredo Quilo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciro Crescencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Braulio Tajo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciro Crescencio having to make a save. Anier Qwinton who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Ciro Crescencio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Teofilo Banegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Geleberto having to interfere.
