Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Timoteo Fiz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Timoteo Fiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Irigoyen the free kick. Timoteo Fiz kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to C. A. Independiente getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Severiano Santikurtz hit a great ball. Gervasio Urbez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Gilabert in the 6th minute. C. A. Independiente's Gervasio Urbez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Paublo in the 8th minute of play. When Honorio Urre came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Irigoyen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Urre couldn't finish the play. Reynaldo Gilabert scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervasio Urbez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute Timoteo Fiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Maidana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Enrique Eneko in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Irigoyen's Cristo Goi. Abel Maidana came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Independiente's Timoteo Fiz. But to his dismay, Timoteo Fiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. C. A. Independiente's Gervasio Urbez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Paublo in the 41st minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Paublo to strike the kick off in the second half. Abel Maidana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Fiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Urbez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Urre went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Gervasio Urbez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Urre, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The supporters of C. A. Independiente booed when Irigoyen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Goi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severo Gonzo during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, C. A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Gonzo to maneuver through the defense. Gervasio Urbez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Paublo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes in the game Andres Su did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Honorio Urre. After 83 played minutes C. A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Severo Gonzo. Alvaro Lander missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 85 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Gervasio Urbez right hand side. In the 88th minute, Enrique Eneko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abel Maidana. The goal made the score 3-2. Reynaldo Gilabert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There was no doubt that Irigoyen were the better team. Irigoyen's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
