Silvio Lidon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Peruxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 22 minutes, Lisandro Egoitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chancha FC and the ALUMNI FC LOBERIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute, Augusto Bernard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrian Osasun was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. Chancha FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Esteban Abad's late challenge caught a Chancha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. One of ALUMNI FC LOBERIA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chancha FC:s goal. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Fernan Abreu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Angel Gasteiz scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvio Lidon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute, Lenílson Arósio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fernan Abreu was a little too slow when Augusto Bernard got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-1. Fernan Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenílson Arósio in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chancha FC's goalkeeper Silvio Lidon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvador Peruxu made a kick off. With a little luck, Chancha FC's Silvio Lidon got control of the ball when Delmiro Ursino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lenílson Arósio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute Augusto Bernard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lenílson Arósio in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernan Abreu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chancha FC's goalkeeper Silvio Lidon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silvio Lidon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angel Gasteiz in the 66th minute. Fernan Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenílson Arósio in the 69th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Salvador Peruxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Lidon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 85 in the game by Angel Gasteiz from a close distance when the talented Silvio Lidon managed to make a qualified save. Chancha FC's players were relieved. Silvio Lidon didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 88th minute, which inside left pole to 2-4. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ALUMNI FC LOBERIA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
